I took this photo at the Ashti Christian Refugee Camp in Kurdistan. I brought face paints with me from the states. This photo was taken inside one of the families' trailers where we had a steady procession of children coming in to have their faces painted. Even some of the parents got their faces painted. For an evening we all forgot where we were.
